Who We Are
Building Resilient Futures Across West Africa’s Subregion
Our Story
Headquartered in the UK, Rooted in West Africa
The founders and directors of ManoWorks possess over 50 years of combined experience in Africa, UK, US and Europe spanning all the disciplines offered through our services, as well as the humanitarian, hospitality, and public health sectors.
Our collective expertise through ManoWorks is dedicated to contributing to the transformation the sub-region requires. Unlike typical business professionals focused solely on profit, our directors are program managers and engineering consultants committed to delivering essential services. Whilst also providing consultancy services in the UK, maintaining a strategic link with global infrastructure development.
The outcomes of our work hold deep significance to us. We measure success not only in projects completed, but in the lasting impact those projects have on the communities, institutions, and nations we serve.
Our Mission
Creating a positive impact in every place we reach and in everything we do
We deliver infrastructure solutions that empower communities, strengthen economies, and stand the test of time — built with integrity, delivered with care.
Our Vision
Inspiring a future where growth and sustainability coexist
We envision healthier, more prosperous developing nations where world-class infrastructure unlocks human potential and fosters inclusive progress.
Aligned With Global Purpose
Our Goals
ManoWorks does not simply build structures — we build futures. Every project we undertake is anchored to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that our work contributes meaningfully to the long-term prosperity of the communities and nations we serve across West Africa.
SDG 9
Resilient Infrastructure
We design and deliver infrastructure built to last — roads, bridges, buildings, and utilities that withstand the demands of a growing continent. SDG 9 calls for inclusive, sustainable industrialisation and innovation; ManoWorks answers that call on every project site.
SDG 11
Sustainable Futures
Urbanisation in West Africa is accelerating. ManoWorks plans and builds with that future in mind — creating settlements, housing, and civic spaces that are safe, inclusive, and environmentally considered. SDG 11 is our blueprint for every community we touch.
SDG 8
Thriving Communities
Infrastructure creates jobs. ManoWorks goes further — we train local workforces, source regional materials, and structure our projects to leave lasting economic capability behind. SDG 8 is the standard we hold ourselves to when measuring the true value of our work.
SDG 17
Regional Partner
No single organisation transforms a region alone. ManoWorks actively cultivates partnerships with governments, NGOs, development banks, and private investors across the Mano River Union and beyond. SDG 17 reflects our belief that the most powerful infrastructure is built on trust.
"These are not aspirations we display on a wall — they are the lens through which every ManoWorks decision is made, from the materials we specify to the communities we employ."
What Drives Us

Our Approach
Promoting Collaboration and Inclusive Progress
We leverage regional strengths and integrate diverse global experiences to promote collaboration and inclusive progress. Our projects are designed not just to build structures, but to build capacity — training local workers, sourcing local materials, and leaving communities stronger than we found them.
By working alongside governments, NGOs, and community leaders, we ensure that every project we deliver is aligned with the long-term development goals of the Mano River region.
